Boyfriend Gains Huge Popularity in Japan, 'Successful Events'

Idol group Boyfriend has been busy in Japan with events and promotions.

Recently, famous Japan store PARCO has put up a large scale poster of Boyfriend on the outside of their building. Inside, the building, there is also a Boyfriend cafe and a gallery of Boyfriend pictures and has gained much attention from fans.

Boyfriend's agency stated today, "This was done to celebrate Boyfriend's first Japan album. This is currently happening in two shopping mall locations and is gaining much attention from fans in Japan."

Last August, Boyfriend released their first Japan single, Be My Shine. They also ranked number 1 on the Oricon Single ranking daily chart as well.

They then released a second Japan single last November and ranked number3 on the charts. Their most recent single from this past March also ranked number 3 on the Oricon single chart.

On the other hand, Boyfriend will be coming back with a digital single on May 28 in Korea.
