Governor Chris Christie Hates Snooki: Snooki Tweets About Their Interaction As The Boardwalk Opens Back Up [VIDEO]

Governor Chris Christie hates Snooki, according to the "Jersey Shore" star.

The two came across with one another on the "Today" show, which the star of "Snooki & JWOW" said Governor Chris Christie hates Snooki. The two met in New Jersey, according to TMZ.

With the reopening of the Seaside Heights boardwalk, the two were there to celebrate the day. It didn't turn out as happy as maybe Snooki could have wanted it and now said Governor Christie hates Snooki.

After the encounter, Snook tweeted a photo of the meeting -- and wrote, "Getting told why we are bad for jersey. Amazing."

During the exchange, Snooki complained that Christie is standing too close to her, so Christie comically leans in even closer, according to TMZ. After Christie extended a handshake, Snooki told Christie, "I just wanted to meet you, and just, hope you start to like us."

The rest of the cast of the "Jersey Shore" joined Snooki to celebrate the day after the boardwalk was trashed from Superstorm Sandy. Sandy was a category 3 storm in October. The boardwalk was pretty much destroyed and was possible for it not to be ready, but was able to be rebuilt in time for Memorial Day.
