Couple Stabbing Over American Idol FInale Leads To Both Of Their Arrest: Kitchen Knives Get In The Middle Of A Heated Debate

Couple stabbing over American Idol: An argument over the finale of this season on "American Idol," a Pennsylvania couple decided to allegedly duke it out with knives over their opinions on who would win.

One picked winner Candice Glover, and the other picked runner-up Kree Harrison in the couple stabbing over American Idol incident took place. Karen Elaine Harrelson, 48, and Gregory Stambaugh, 57, were arrested after the incident took place.

During the argument, as it heated up, one of the two picked up a kitchen knife and stabbed the other for what is now trending as the couple stabbing over American Idol, according to the York Dispatch.

West Manchester Township Police told the Dispatch that after the stabbing, the other one picked up the knife and returned the favor by stabbing the other with it.

Harrelson and Stambaugh were treated at a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, and then transported to the police station when they were released. Each was charged with two counts of simple assault and one count of aggravated assault.

They are being held in the same prison in York County, Penn. Harrelson is there on $30,000 bail and Stambaugh on $70,000 until their court date that has yet to be revealed.
