Is Katherine Webb Engaged To AJ McCarron Now? [Pics]

In a recent photograh of the former Miss Alabama, Katherine Webb was spotted wearing a diamond ring on her left ring finger.

It could mean that Alabama quarterback, A.J. McCarron famously "put a ring on it."

A recent MTV appearance with fellow model, Chrissy Teigen, proved to be revelatory for the future wedding plans of Katherine. Webb.

The two beauties were in Gulfshores, Alabama for an MTV appearance at "Hangout Fest," where they listened to tunes, and provided coverage of the beach fashion.

But that's not all. They were also spotted side-by-side eating shrimp, and that's where she was spotted rocking a pretty large rock.

Even larger than the stone model, Chrissy Teigen, was given by her fiancé, John Legend.

So are AJ McCarron and Katherine Webb secretly engaged?

Most college football fans remember Katherine Webb's exhaustive coverage during the 2013 BCS Bowl Championship game, where her boyfriend, Alabama star QB A.J. McCarron, led Alabama to a national championship.

During the 2013 BCS game broadcast, the announcer, Brent Musburger, talked about her at length after the camera panned to her watching her boyfriend from the crowd.

Musburger constantly kept referring to her as "lovely" and "beautiful" causing most viewers to be uncomfortable about the old man's lecherous comments.

He even turned to his broadcast partner, Kirk Herbstreit, and said "You quarterbacks get all the good-looking women."

The comments caused an ensuing firestorm of media criticism as most critics pointed out how uncomfortable Musburger's comments seemed during supposedly bi-partisan coverage.

Webb has also been pretty outspoken in her commitment to AJ McCarron and her desire to wed the star Alabama quarterback.

In January, while on the Ryan Seacrest show, she was asked if her rise to fame might mean AJ would "put a ring on her?"

Said Seacrest: "would [your fame] rush AJ to give you a ring."

"I knew in the first two weeks that we were going to be together for a long time," she responded. "Love kind of takes over and you start talking about the future. So yeah, it's definitely something that I want. I don't see all of this fame - or whatever it is - kind of affecting how I feel toward AJ."

Maybe A.J. McCarron and Katherine Webb are already engaged. The diamond ring sure makes it look that way. Or maybe, as Busted Coverage, has pointed out, she was just wearing the ring to ward off any unwanted advances.
