CL's New Song 'Bad Girl' No Teasers, No Hints

YG Entertainment is playing 007 with CL's upcoming solo debut song, "Bad Girl."

"Bad Girl," set to release on May 28, has not had any teasers related to the actual song. A warrior-like image of CL that was posted via YG's official blog is the extent of what we know about CL's solo debut.

YG, like many other companies, has always employed the traditional method of releasing a series of teasers to heighten the level of anticipation from awaiting fans. This time around, however, there is not a thing from YG.

There are speculations that the reason for such watertight secrecy has to do with the genre of the new song, which has been reported to be a slow-tempo, traditional hip hop music. For a novel genre , YG  has perhaps assessed that it may be better to open up the flood gates all at once when the complete product is ready rather than show parts of unfamiliar tunes and style.

The only hint that YG disclosed is that the song will feature the Dougie, Dubstep and, last but not least, CL's rap.

YG, which has been continuing its hot streak of successes since Psy's mega hit late July, remains a hot issue as the public waits to see what CL will bring to K-Pop as a solo artist.
