Titus Young Charged With 11 Crimes: Former Lions Wide Receiver Faces Three More Counts On Top Of The Original Eight [VIDEO]

Titus Young charged with 11 crimes after a judge added new counts to an alleged week-long crime spree on Friday.

The former NFL wide receiver, Titus Young charged with 11 crimes after what has allegedly been a month full of non-NFL like behavior.

Three new counts were added to the already eight he had.

On Friday, added to the eight crimes he already faced, including a felony count of residential burglary and misdemeanor resting arrest and vandalism charges, Titus Young charged with 11 crimes.

He was arrested on suspicion of DUI and theft. These two arrests happened separately on the same day of May 5. First he was arrested on suspicion of DUI and later on again for an alleged theft.

Judge Andre Manssourian increased Young's bail to $50,000 from $25,000, and the former Detroit Lions wide receiver remains in jail.

"Mr. Young poses a danger to the community," Manssourian said at the court.

During his two seasons in the NFL with the Detroit Lions, Young was able to scored 10 touchdowns. Last May, he was sent home for sucker-punching one of his teammates. He was sent home again later that year for conduct detrimental to the team. The Lions eventually released him in February shortly after Young tweeted that he didn't want to play anymore if he wasn't going to get the ball.

On May 13, Young's father, Richard, revealed that his son has a severe mental disorder and badly needs help, according to a report by ESPN.

"I hope they just forgive Titus because this ain't none of Titus, it wasn't none of his fault," he told The Detroit Free Press after he said it was the aftermath of a concussion that caused all of this in 2011. "I look at my son right now, I don't see my son. That's not my son. I know my son."
