Miley Cyrus Liam Hemsworth Split But Still Living Together; Are They Done For Good?

The on-again off-again nuptials between Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are officially over, according to sources who spoke with US Magazine.

But are they done for good, or is this another ruse? 

According to US Magazine, due out later this week, multiple sources have come forward to them, the pair, who famously got engaged in 2012, are done for good this time. 

"They are definitely over," the source tells US. 

The formerly engaged pair met on the set of The Last Song in 2009 and after dating--before breaking up after the premiere of the film--got back together and were engaged in June of 2012. 

The 23-year-old Hemsworth proposed to the 20-year-old Cyrus with a 3.5 carat engagement ring. 

The pair had been having difficulties earlier this spring, including the notion that they where done and the engagement was off.

After reports surfaced Liam's older brothers, Chris (of Thor fame) and Luke Hemsworth, had staged an intervention to dissuade Liam of following through with the engagement to Miley. 

But those reports proved false, and the two were seen getting hot and heavy during a party at Cyrus' home on May 10. 

Reported US Mag just last week, "She was kissing him," says a witness. "They were definitely back on."

This came after Miley had started wearing her engagement ring again, too. 

Cyrus had stopped wearing the engagement ring after sources said Liam was flirting with January Jones after an Oscar party earlier this year.

Jones and Hemsworth reportedly left the party together and many believed The Hunger Games star had hooked up with Mad Men's titularl, ennui-heavy, housewife.

But those rumors were quickly replaced by the intervention angle and it seems to have worked, if it--in fact--happened. Regardless, they're done as US Magazine says. 

Miley did seem to be back together with Liam when she wore he engagement ring in the studio last week, but it appears that happiness has now been replaced by today's news they've split. 

But, even after the UK's Daily Mail said that Miley confessed to a friend, "we're done," they still might not be over.

That's because the two are still living together, and as we've seen with Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, that could mean the relationship is still being figured out.  

The engagement is off, but the pair might still rekindle their four years and running relationship. You never know with Hollywood.
