Beyonce Battles H&M Over Photoshopped Ad Campaign And Wins; Anyone Buy This Fake Rumor For Good Press?[PICS AND VIDEO}

Beyonce's reportedly battled with Retailer H&M after the store allegedly used photoshopped images of the diva for their 2013 swimwear campaign. The pictures of H&M in the ad campaign are gorgeous.  Making up a rumor like this is good press for Beyonce and H&M, so who is behind the most attractive rumor about Beyonce in months?

A source (yes a source) told The Sun, the 31-year-old mother "hit the roof" when she found out H&M planned photoshopher Beyonce's famous curves for the ads.

A rep for the store told the UK newspaper that though a battle took place Beyonce ended up being victorious. The rep said in the end, the unedited images were used for the H&M ad campaign.

"As with all campaigns there are discussions on which images should be used."

This afternoon, an H&M spokesman told Glamour: "Beyonce was our first choice for this campaign and we were delighted when she said yes. Our purpose has always been to portray Beyonce as the strong and beautiful woman she is. It has been a good working process and a close cooperation. Both parties are happy with the images."

This is free press for Beyonce and the clothing line. Does H&M think we are all that dumb? Do they think we are going to think to ourselves, "Wow, if Beyonce can wear those clothes so beautifully without being retouched, then I want those clothes!"

Frankly, I'm insulted that they couldn't rely on the clothes for marketing and had to create such a nice little rumor for themselves.

Am I the only one seeing right through this rumor?
