Angus Jones Leaves 'Two And A Half Men', ‘He Was Just Done Done’ With TV Series, Female Regular Coming Soon

Angus Jones' departure from “Two and a Half Men” opens the role for a lady in the hit comedy series!

A source who spoke to US Weekly said that the producers “tried really hard to keep him, but he was just done done.” Angus Jones, the “half men” in the title is leaving the show after 10 seasons.

Angus Jones has made headlines for his behavior in years past. Last November, the actor posted a YouTube video slamming “Two and a Half Men” as “filth” and asking viewers to “please stop watching.”

He later apologized for “showing indifference and disrespect” toward his colleagues, but rumors of his intent to leave the show have been circulated ever since.

The vacancy leaves a high-profile gig for an actress to fill, and officially changing two of the three characters in the title. The new addition of a female regular comes after the successful transition from Sheen to Kutcher two years ago.

The female role that will be added is for a girl in her late teens or early 20s who comes to town looking for a father. She shows up at the home of Walden Smith (Ashton Kutcher) and Alan Harper (Jon Cryer) claiming to be the daughter of the house’s previous owner, Charlie Harper (Charlie Sheen).

According to Yahoo, Jones’ departure means that only Jon Cryer is left of the original two and a half men in the title of the sitcom. The comedy series debuted in 2003 and was renewed for its 11th season earlier this month.
