Tetris Blitz Goes Hollywood; Nerds From ‘The Big Bang Theory’ and ‘Community’ And Other TV Celebs Join The 2-Minute Blitz Frenzy

Tetris Blitz was recently released by EA on various app platforms such as Apple Appstore, Android, Google Play Store and Amazon. And since then, the rage for the Tetris Blitz is not stopping.

Based on the Google Play Store, almost 9,500 Tetris Blitz players have rated the game already and its average rating is now 4.5 stars. With new features, power-ups and frenzy mode added to the game, players will definitely be hooked with it as they try to race against the two-minute blitz to clear the lines and score as many points as possible.

Even Hollywood's most famous TV actors and actresses are so into Tetris Blitz alreaady. Recently this week, EA blogs about celebrities who visited the Tetris Blitz Lounge at The Variety Emmy Suite to battle out for the highest core. And some of the most favorite TV characters are present in the show. The nerds from hit comedy series, The Big Bang Theory, Kunnal Nayar and Mayim Bialik, gamely played the two-second Tetris Blitz game.  Mayim Bialik got so captivated immediately by the game that she had to get pulled away from it just so she can stop playing.  No one can blame her, Tetris Blitz can really be addicting.

Danny Pudi, the star from another hit comedy tv show, Community, was also seen at EA's Tetris Blitz event. The actor shared about reminiscing the moments when he played Tetris for the first time on his Nintendo Game Boy.

'Orphan Black' actresss, Tatiana Maslany enjoyed sipping her coffee from the 'I Love Gaming' Tetris Blitz mug she got from the suite. Other TV actors and actresses spotted on the Tetris Blitz event are William Macy and Emmy Rossum from Shameless, Ana Gastever of Saturday Night Live, The Office's Rainn Wilson, Archie Punjabi of The Good Wife and David Morrissey from the Walking Dead.
