Woman Contracts Herpes At Rihanna Concert From MAC Lipstick And Begins Lawsuit; How To Avoid Germs When Sampling MakeUp[VIDEO]

A Halem, New York woman has filed a lawsuit after contracting herpes at a Rihanna concert where she sampled Rihanna MAC Makeup. Starkeema Greenidge claims she was infected by the herpes when she sampled a lipstick offered by one of  Rihanna's sponsors and threatens MAC to pay up for the pain it has caused her.

The woman's lawsuit claims she contracted herpes when she sampled a Rihanna Woo MAC lipstick that was being offered at a Rihanna concert on May 7 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. An employee applied the used lipstick to the woman's lips, and then told her to "press her lips together and spread the lipstick around," according to the report.

"(MAC) didn't use a fresh or new lipstick tube, but rather one that had been used for other patrons," the suit charges.

The woman applying the lipstick should have been more careful with the used makeup. It is proven that you can contract Herpes from someone that is infected just by sharing makeup.

A study on germs in public makeup found staph, strep and even E. coli bacteria on makeup testers in department stores, specialty stores and drugstores. The bacteria were especially high on Saturdays, the day of the week where the stores had the most traffic.

To avoid germs, lipstick samples should always be applied with a new disposable applicator, as should any other makeup products. Products you are testing should be cleaned with a tissue or one dipped in alcohol.

The MAC sponsor at the concert used the same lipstick directly on hundreds of concert goers. Yuck!

The woman is suing Mac Cosmetic for her suffering. "I wasn't able to work for two weeks. It cost me a lot of money," Greenidge told the New York Daily News.

It is not yet confirmed yet if the woman contracted the virus at the concert, but if she did she has a solid case against Rihanna.
