Stone Cold Smashes Tony Romo: Former WWE Wrestler Said He Can’t Fully Support The Dallas Cowboys Until They 'Get Their Sh*t Together'

Former WWE superstar Stone Cold Steve Austin slammed the Dallas Cowboys and quarterback Tony Romo during a radio interview on Friday, saying he can't fully support the team until they "get their sh*t together."

The Texas native weighed in on the team and the football celeb during an interview on 105.3 The Fan, scrutinizing the Cowboy's strengths and weaknesses. Austin said he's disappointed with Romo's performance and can't support the team until he sees improvement.

"My problem with Dallas is I think Tony Romo is a damn good quarterback, but he sh*ts the bed at the most inopportune times," Austin said on the program.

"So when I look for leadership, I can't say that Tony Romo is the clear-cut leader."

Romo bore the brunt of Austin's criticism of the Cowboys, considering the fact that he recently signed a six-year, $108 million extension with the team during the offseason. The team has not won a Super Bowl in 18 years.

"He's got all the physical tools," Austin said during the interview.

"He's inherently accurate, he's got a quick release. He doesn't have the strongest arm in the world, but he can damn sure throw. So he just needs to do some brain work."

Austin also criticized Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, saying he hasn't made the best decision for the team.

"Jerry Jones, love the guy, but you have to let someone else make the decisions," Austin said. "I think Jerry Jones is caught up in a little too close in it."

The former WWE star received a full scholarship to play for Wharton County Junior College's football team and the University of North Texas before pursuing a career in wrestling.
