Former IZ*ONE Kwon Eun Bi to Make Solo Debut in August

Former member of IZ*ONE, Kwon Eun Bi, is reportedly making her solo debut sometime in August.

According to Korean media outlet Star News on August 5 KST, former IZ*ONE member Kwon Eun Bi is confirmed to release her solo debut album at the end of the month, kick-starting her solo career.

Former IZ*ONE Member Kwon Eun Bi Reportedly Making Solo Debut in August 

It is said that Kwon Eun Bi is currently in the midst of finishing her solo debut album, such as shooting the album jacket. Other preparations such as filming for her music video are also in progress.

Kwon Eun Bi, who was the eldest member and leader of IZ*ONE, was heavily loved for her charisma on stage and her everlasting charm off-stage.

As a solo artist, it is expected that Kwon Eun Bi will garner high expectations for her visuals, excellent singing ability, and amazing dancing skills.

The news of Kwon Eun Bi preparing to release her solo debut album this month is attracting much attention and becoming highly-anticipated, in that this will be her first official activity since the disbandment of IZ*ONE. Not only that, but this also marks the first IZ*ONE member who is making their official debut minus the Japanese members who are already part of the J-Pop groups AKB48 and HKT48.

The exact date of Kwon Eun Bi's solo debut has not yet been revealed as of this moment.

Meanwhile, IZ*ONE was formed through Mnet's survival show "Produce 48," which received great love in both South Korea and Japan. The group disbanded back on April 29, after two years and six months of promotions.

Following the disbandment, there were discussions to reunite the group for an extended period, however, the plans fell through.

Kwon Eun Bi Talks about Differing Personality with IZ*ONE Kim Chae Won

In July, former IZ*ONE members Kwon Eun Bi and Kim Chae Won had a photoshoot and interview with Esquire magazine. During the interview, the two former IZ*ONE members talked about their differing personalities with each other.

According to Kwon Eun Bi, Kim Chae Won is a calm person, while the former is more impatient and talkative.  She gives a scenario wherein if she were to approach Kim Chae Won while doing aegyo, Kim Chae Won would just respond to her flatly.

Kim Chae Won added that Kwon Eun Bi is goal-oriented and passionate, unlike her. However, she expresses that their personalities make it more fun for when they are together as they fill in where the other lacks.

The two "Panorama" singers also mentioned how they both feel their five-year age difference often, such as Kim Chae Won uses a lot of slang terms that Kwon Eun Bi doesn't understand, while Kim Chae Won doesn't know songs that Kwon Eun Bi does.
