EXO How Effective Was Their Pre-Release Method?

Boy group EXO comeback strategy appears have worked for them 

EXO's 1st album XOXO was released yesterday and rose right to the top of album sales and music charts. Their song "Kiss" Korean version and "Hug" Chinese version specifically, took over ranks 1 and 2 of music charts.

Their title song "Wolf" also ranked 1st in other music charts.

These superior results seem to have been the successful outcome of their comeback strategy. EXO held their comeback stage on Mnet "M! Countdown" on May 30, which was 5 days before the release of their actual music.

EXO's agency SM Entertainment revealed that "Wolf" is made complete only when the music is supported by the performance. As their confidence of the performance became strong, they decided to go for the strategy of performing first.
