CL Moved By YG CEO Yang Hyun Suk's Comments

2NE1's CL, who recently debuted as a solo artist with her single, "THE BADDEST FEMALE," expressed her gratitude toward her mentor and CEO of 2NE1's management company YG Entertainment.

"I was deeply moved by Yang Hyun Suk when he offered encouragements to me. He is usually never the one to express his emotions but he really backed me up with lots of advice leading up to my solo debut performance," CL remarked.

She added, "Yang Hyun Suk told me that his number one song is 'MY BADDEST FEMALE' no matter what anyone says and that I should just enjoy my stage to the fullest, as much as I love the song. I was thankful for his trust in my abilities."

Earlier, Yang Hyun Suk poured out his highest compliments about CL's first solo song. He said, "I would like to give a very high score to CL's 'THE BADDEST FEMALE' because it is overall a satisfying product. It is a result of YG staff's incredible collaboration, so I hope CL focuses on her stage and cares less about rankings and such."
