Ailee Shines As Philippines’ Ambassador In Interactive Commercial For Tourism: ‘I Will Show You!’ [Photos]

Singer Ailee was chosen to be an ambassador for tourism in the Philippines and has been filming for an interactive commercial showcasing the charms of the country. Through her recorded experience in the Philippines, Ailee will be showing the world the joys of travelling in the country.

Teaser stills of the solo artist filming the commercial have been released, and it has been reported that Ailee has taken a three-day long trip to the Philippines for this special project.

In the interactive commercial, Ailee would be introducing the different sights of the Philippines, especially its capital, Manila. For a segment called "Ailee Fun," the "I Will Show You" singer will be seen shopping and relaxing in the Philippines, and she will also introduce the entertaining side of Manila.

Another segment called "Ailee Spot" will feature popular locations in the Philippines for cultural experiences and shopping places.

Although the weather in the Philippines has been quite hot and Ailee had to endure long hours of filming for the commercial, the solo singer and the staff alike remained cheerful and positive.

One of the teaser photos showed Ailee chowing down delicious lobsters and mud crabs while visiting the Macapagal Seaside Market.

"With her charming personality, Ailee is the best ambassador to show the unique qualities of the Philippines," said Maricon Ebron, who is Korea's General Manager for the Philippines' Department of Tourism.

Ailee's tourism commercial will begin airing through portal sites and SNS tomorrow, and fans will be able to see Ailee enjoying her trip in the Philippines and sharing her experience with the world!

Ailee will also be performing at the "Strawberry X-treme Festival" in Seoul this Friday, and will appear as a special guest for HELLOVENUS's first solo concert at Sogang University on next Saturday on June 22.
