NewJeans Danielle Draws Concerns After Showing Signs of Balding at SFW 2023

At the recent Seoul Fashion Week 2023 held from March 15 to 19, NewJeans became one of the main highlights of the event as its global public relations ambassador.

During the five-day event, the quintet truly proved their emerging "fashion icon" side, wearing ensembles from local designers' brands.

Following the event, the team continued to earn praise for their striking beauty and aura, cementing their position as a visual group. However, while most of the topics were admiring the five equally beautiful girls, Danielle drew concerns after netters pointed out something about the young star.

Keen-eyed web users and fans particularly stated that Danielle seems to be showing early signs of balding at the top of her head at the recent SFW 2023. Looking at her photo, it is noticeable that she's suffering hair loss as the division of her hair at the top looks uneven.

With this, fans expressed their worries since Danielle, who was born in 2005 was only 17 years old. She's not even past adult age but is still a minor, yet she's already suffering from this condition.

After this speculation circulated among fans, Bunnies (fandom) expressed their concern over the root cause of her hair loss, guessing if it was due to stress or other factors.

Ultimately, fans are claiming that one of the possible major causes of this was due to ADOR's decision to hide Danielle's natural hairstyle.

Prior to her debut as NewJeans' main vocalist, the "OMG" singer has natural curly and wavy hair. In her pre-debut photos, Danielle exudes a princess-like aura with her curls/waves.

A lot of fans actually love this, and a lot were hoping that she could continue showing her natural hair to represent women with the same type of hair in K-pop.

However, once she was introduced as NewJeans, ADOR, the label of the team under HYBE straightened her hair to fit the group's initial concept of having long, straight, black hair.

Unfortunately, the company continued pushing Danielle with straight hair and burning her hair frequently to maintain this hairstyle would surely cause damage to the hair, leading to hair loss.

As a result, Bunnies are already calling the attention of ADOR to let Danielle flaunt her friz/waves and to also avoid further impacts such as balding.

On the other hand, NewJeans, the team to which Danielle belongs have confirmed their appearance at the world's largest music festivals in a row.

On March 22, ADOR announced:

"NewJeans has been named in the 2023 lineup of Lollapalooza Chicago and Summer Sonic in Japan scheduled for August."

Despite being a group that debuted in less than a year, this was considered a huge feat proving their strong presence in the music scene, not only in Korea but around the world.
