K-Media Highlights THESE 2 Fourth-Gen Idols as K-pop's Emerging 'Hot Girls'

There are numerous K-pop idols considered as "Hot Girls" but THESE two fourth-gen stars have been certified by a news outlet!

Who are they?

Since the first-gen era of K-pop girl groups, the most classic concepts circle around "pure," "innocent" and "lovely." However, as the fourth-gen era takes over, the so-called "Hot Girl" aura emerges.

In K-pop, the "Hot Girl" image was mainly characterized by having a healthy and solid body, a confident and cool vibe, as well as hip styling. It resembles the image of a "teen queen" in an American high-teen movie, that deviates from the usual sweet "damsel in distress" characters.

With that being said, here are the two 4th-gen female idols who were chosen as K-pop's "Hot Girls."

aespa Giselle Named As Representative 'Hot Girl' Idol

According to the media outlet, Hankook Ilbo, aespa Giselle has recently been considered a representative "Hot Girl" idol.

Since her debut, she has built her own image by utilizing the Y2K fashion and exuding a hip vibe with her visuals and physique.

Among the various styles, Giselle's most favored items are minimal sleeveless T-shirts, wide-fit cargo pants, and various types of hats.

Giselle tends to emphasize the hip feeling by using basic items of the Y2K mood, which have been steadily loved in the fashion world recently, to show the standard of styling that is "as if decorated but not decorated."

Meanwhile, aespa is currently holding its aespa LIVE TOUR 2023 "SYNK - HYPER LINE" and recently kicked off their South American tour starting with Mexico on September 8th.

They also appeared on ABC's representative morning show, "Good Morning America," on the 6th.

LE SSERAFIM Huh Yunjin Selected as Emerging K-pop's 'Hot Girl' Alongside Giselle

Another emerging "Hot Girl" in the K-pop scene is none other than Huh Yunjin.

However, contrary to Giselle, Yunjin has a rather relatively mature styling and her go-to fit were crop tops or halter neck top and cargo pants that give off the exotic and urban atmosphere.

Hair and makeup are essential for K-pop idols to maintain their image, but Yunjin shows her unconventional beauty by slaying the "messy hair, don't care," and the "no-makeup" look.

Meanwhile, on September 20, it was announced that the music video of "UNFORGIVEN," the title track of their first full-length same-name album, has surpassed 100 million views.

With this, LE SSERAFIM achieved their third music video to reach 100 million views, following their debut song "Fearless," and the title song of their 2nd mini album, "ANTIFRAGILE."
