B.A.P Summer Comeback Triple-Threat, Not Even Waiting For The Competition To Catch Up

TS Entertainment announced on June 17 that their popular six-member hip-hop group B.A.P will be making a summer comeback at the end of the month.

These guys certainly move quickly.

In February of this year the group released their second EP, One Shot, and two successful singles, the title track "One Shot" and "Rain Sound." The record not only ranked number one on the Billboard World Albums Chart, but also hit the top of the iTunes hip hop downloads charts in both the US and Canada and made the top ten in various other countries.

B.A.P also just wrapped up a world tour which included four sold out shows in the US and a scene of thousands of screaming fans outside the MTV studios in New York City's Times Square where they held a live showcase.

Already pretty darn good for a group that just debuted last year. But the rookies are showing absolutely no signs of slowing down any time soon.

In an unprecedented move, B.A.P's agency TS Entertainment announced on Monday that for the group's summer comeback they will be promoting three title singles.

"The decision to come out with three title songs was not easy with B.A.P just beginning its second year since debut," said a statement by the group's label. "But our greed to show a variety of musical colors was too great, and we have to confidence to not disappoint with all three songs."

The strategy may be a bit unconventional, but it very logical. The six-member group is still flying high after massive success with their last album release and international Live On Earth tour.

These powerful rookies are in the right mind not to wait for their competition to catch up, and are already miles ahead of other idol groups several years their senior.

B.A.P are clearly on a whole new playing field and are not wasting any time. Still fresh in the minds of fans across the globe, making a quick turn around into releasing new material not only keeps them on their A-game, but prevents the risk of becoming irrelevant.

Many K-Pop groups go on long hiatuses in between releases, apparently operating under the motto 'absence makes the heart grow fonder.' But this plan has the potential to back-fire as many eager fans find it difficult to wait so long and thus turn their attention elsewhere.

B.A.P do not plan on letting anyone forget who they are.

The first song is scheduled to be released on June 28 and the highly anticipated music video was revealed to have been shot in Las Vegas.
