THESE Idol's Night Out Turns Nightmare as Fan's Actions Draw Public Outrage

A video that emerged on social media on October 26, 2023, depicted a discomfiting encounter between three renowned K-pop idols: Cha Eunwoo of ASTRO, Jaehyun from NCT, and Jungkook of BTS.

The scene was set in Seoul's bustling Apgujeong district, a known hub for celebrity sightings and vibrant nightlife. These idols, usually known for their affable demeanor with fans, found themselves in an unusual and uncomfortable situation.

Invasion of Privacy: Retrieving Used Cups 

The video unveiled the idols in a state of visible unease as an overzealous fan approached them, initially requesting an autograph. However, the language barrier was evident as Jungkook appeared perplexed, struggling to grasp the fan's request.

The situation escalated when the fan recognized Cha Eunwoo, leading the star to offer a polite, humility-laden apology with clasped hands, a customary gesture in South Korea.

"Sorry, we're just having a private moment among ourselves.We're genuinely sorry, but we're enjoying some personal time here."  

Despite the apology, the fan persisted, asking unanswered questions, making the situation even more awkward. The fan took to Instagram later to recount their perspective, revealing that they initially did not recognize Jaehyun and noted the presence of a non-celebrity friend accompanying the idols.

What added fuel to the fire was the fan's behavior, including retrieving used cups from the idols' table and verbally labeling each cup, suggesting a personal connection.

After the idols left the restaurant, the fan continued to approach Jungkook, requesting an impromptu song performance and effusively describing their brief interaction, even claiming to have "touched" him.

The fan's account of the incident met with substantial backlash from fellow fans online, with many questioning its authenticity, labeling it as "delusional."
