Among popular groups that have been around for around two years, there are MBLAQ and Rainbow.

MBLAQ took the number one spot with "Y" and "It's War" back in 2010 and 2012 but they were both on cable networks. They have yet to win one on a major network show. Rainbow, on the other hand, has never taken the number one place on any music shows.

With Sistar, After School, EXO and Ivy sailing smoothly, it remains a tough challenge for MBLAQ and Rainbow to take a shot at the trophy.

U-Kiss, going on their 6th year, still has not had any luck when it comes to going all the way on music shows.

ZE:A, Nine Muses, Girl's day, A-Pink, Boyfriend have never won on a major network as well.

Certainly, the rankings do not evaluate the musicians in the most objective way. There are many reasons to love artists and their music that are not always accounted for in the point system. As such, as fans, we should continue to support the ones we love regardless of what the numbers say. After all, true fans love their artists first because they are good, not because they are number one.
