'Street Woman Fighter' Dancers and This Idol Cosplay 2NE1 During Group's Seoul Concert
To show support for 2NE1's much-awaited concert in Seoul, top choreographer-dancers and idols brought nostalgia to BLACKJACKs by cosplaying the group.
On Oct. 4th, 2NE1, who's celebrating their 15th debut anniversary, kicked off their "WELCOME BACK" tour in Korea. This is also their first solo concert in 10 years and 6 months, held at the Olympic Park.
On this day, the sold-out Day 1 concert was not only filled with BLACKJACKs (2NE1 fandom) of all ages, but top celebrities also attended the event.
To maximize the atmosphere and excitement inside the venue, some fans wore outfits and items that are 2NE1-coded. Then, a group of friends made concert spectators scream in unison after cosplaying the quartet.
Their outfits and hairstyles were on point, reminding fans of 2NE1's "Lollipop" music era. The crowd screamed louder when they also made an impression of the members that they were impersonating by showing their little dances and gestures.
Initially, netters thought they were just die-hard 2NE1 stans but K-pop fans were shocked after recognizing that the cosplayers were actually South Korea's top dancers from "Street Woman Fighter"!
Harimu, a former member of the K-pop group SUPA and 1Million dance crew member, appeared as Dara, while CocaNButter Ri.Hey transformed as Bom.
HOOK's Aiki rocked the venue as Minzy, and lastly, PROWDMON's Lip J joined them as 2NE1's leader, CL.
When their videos spread online, netizens are surprised yet find it so cute that they were willing to do this to show their love and support for the girl group. Most of them have worked with the quartet in the past and were also friends with the members.
Meanwhile, fans can expect more memorable moments as 2NE1 continues their Seoul concert on the 5th and 6th.
