SNSD Sunny's Recent Sightings With Her Uncle Lee Soo Man Ignites Collab Rumor

After leaving SM Entertainment, SNSD Sunny drew curiosity about her next move after her recent sightings with her uncle Lee Soo Man

On X, a video and photo showing the icon's recent status went viral among K-pop fans and SONEs (fandom) after Sunny was spotted strolling on the streets of Shanghai, China together with her biological uncle Lee Soo Man.

Next to them were SM exclusive composer Yoo Young Jin and two speculated female idol trainees behind them, who also went with them to visit a restaurant.

When the clip and image circulated online, they immediately drew keen attention, who wondered what this meant.

It could be recalled that Sunny left SM last year after 16 years. Since then the "Gee" singer has become an independent artist who has yet to find her new nest.

Meanwhile, SM was founded by Lee Soo Man, but her uncle was kicked out as its executive producer following in-fightings with Lee's nephew, Lee Sung Soo, the former CEO of the company.

Now that the two are no longer under SM, there are speculations if they are planning to sign a partnership to run A20 Entertainment, the new agency Lee applied for a trademark under the entertainment business.

Sunny could sign as a new artist for the said agency, but fans are more convinced that she will most likely become a creative director who will work closely with Chinese and Japanese trainees.

While this is still just a rumor, expectations are high for Sunny's next step amid Girls' Generation's hiatus.
