THESE K-pop Artists Are Nominated For 2024 MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs): Lisa, LE SSERAFIM, Jungkook, More!

K-pop's presence has gone global, given how many artists have made an impact overseas. This type of international recognition also caught the attention of several award-giving bodies outside Korea, including the MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs).

On October 8, this year's EMAs announced the award categories, and which artists are filling in those lists. According to the site, several K-pop artists managed to place their names in various categories due to their success, releases, and popularity.

Here are 7 K-pop artists included in the 2024 MTV EMAs nominations!

1. BLACKPINK Lisa

Lisa claimed four nominations at the 2024 EMAs, with her new song "New Woman" (feat. Rosalía) placing in Best Video and Best Collaboration categories. As a soloist, Lisa was also nominated for Biggest Fans and Best K-pop.

2. LE SSERAFIM

Fourth-gen leader LE SSERAFIM secured nominations for Best New, Best Push, and Best K-pop.

3. BTS Jungkook

Jungkook was nominated for the Best K-pop award.

4. BTS Jimin

Just like his fellow BTS bandmate, Jimin also secured a nomination for Best K-pop.

5. NewJeans

As a powerhouse in both K-pop and mainstream, NewJeans received a nod for Best K-pop.

6. Stray Kids

Best K-pop also included Stray Kids, given their successful music releases.

7. ILLIT

Lastly, ILLIT entered a surprising inclusion in the Best Asia Act category.
