As Second Season Of "1 Night, 2 Day" Approaches, Expect Changes

We all know “1 Night, 2 Day” is about to get a total makeover. What we don’t know is how it will go down. There has been numerous rumors and speculation on who will stay on for the second season of “1N2D” and who will leave.

The strongest assumption we can pull from all the gossip is that Lee Soo Geun seems to be the core piece. On a recent episode of Kim Seung Woo’s “Win Win” show, Uhm Tae Woong stated that he will stay on the show if Lee Soo Geun would. Kim Seung Woo also said that he will be basing his decision depending on Lee Soo Geun.

Could Lee Soo Geun play the role of the main MC on the next season?

Season one is scheduled to end in February. With season two approaching very quickly, it looks like decisions will be made down to the wire. Reports are indicating that Lee Seung Gi will not return as he has been interested in pursuing his acting career along with various side projects. As for Eun Ji Won, he currently stands as undecided as well.

It was reported earlier this month that Kim Hyung Joong has been asked to join the new cast but has yet to make any definitive decision.
Another issue regarding the new season, it is unclear whether “1N2D” will keep the same format as season one in season two. There have been reports that KBS does plan on keeping the same format without a second season.  At this point it seems to all be up in the air.

It’s never safe to assume but it’s safe to say that there will be a season two and there will be some changes. We’ve yet to find out whether these changes will be major or minor. Expect there to be a different combination of hosts with the possible main MC being Lee Soo Geun, with Uhm Tae Woong and Kim Seung Woo by his side.
