'Superstar K5' Auditions to Begin Again, 'Upgraded Contestants-Program'

Audition program "Superstar K5" will begin its 5th year through Mnet.

Today, they held the "Superstar K5" press conference with judges Lee Seung Chul, Yoon Jong Shin, Lee Haneul as well as the producer of the show.

The producers stated that over 2 million people auditioned just like last year and the applicant process is currently going on now.

Many fans and viewers questioned the fact of if there are any more greatly talented 'geniuses' still out there to be found. Lee Seung Chul stated that many more have been found for this new season.

The production team stated that they have worked harder and opened their eyes wider in order to bring in more diversity into the program by choosing different styles and personalities into the show.

"Superstar K" is known to gain much attention during every season and produces talented singers. Singers Huh Gak, Roy Kim, Busker Busker, Seo In Gook have all become stars through this audition program.
