PlayStation 4 Release Date Set For November 3 [PHOTO]: Sony Ad Posted On Twitter Teases Launch Of Next-Generation Game Console

A lot of rumors about Sony PlayStation 4 release date have swirled around the internet but one of the latest speculations emerged because of a teaser ad posted by Sony. Recent reports are now suggesting that PlayStation 4 release date may happen in November 3, coinciding with a solar eclipse happening that day.

Yes, I believe you are confused now and asking if there is a connection between PlayStation 4 release date and a solar eclipse occurrence. Well, there is actually, especially if we are going to based it on the recent teaser ad that was posted at the official Twitter account of PlayStation.

The photo (shown above this article) reads tagline "When Worlds Collide" and immediately below is an image of a solar eclipse, as described by a Daily Game post. With this, perceptive astronomy fans should know that there will be a total solar eclipse occurring on November 3 in various parts of the world including regions in North America, Europe and Asia. Thus, because of this teaser campaign depicting a solar eclipse, it could be very well assumed that the worldwide PlayStation 4 release date is set by Sony on November 3.

It will definitely be such great news for the PS4 fans if the PlayStation 4 release date will push through in November 3, especially to those who pre-order a bundle of the upcoming game console. However, it should be noted that November 3 falls on a Sunday, and USPS or other private carriers like FedEx or DHL do not deliver on this day. This means that those who ordered online may not receive it on that day. But on the other hand, the early-November PlayStation 4 release date offers a great advantage to those who have pre-ordered the console from a brick-and-mortar retailer shop or those who can wait in line outside the store to purchase their PS4 unit.

PlayStation 4 release date falling on a Sunday may appear strange for the gamers especially if the individual PS4 games are usually released on a Tuesday. But as far as what the records show, this may seem possible because for instance, Sony PS2 and PS3 were both released in Japan on a Saturday and the PS3 shipping in North America commenced on a Friday.

However, the PS4 released date falling on November 3 is just a rumor, thus, it should be taken with a grain of salt. For sure, in the coming weeks or months, Sony will already provide an official announcement regarding the highly-anticipated PlayStation 4 release date.
