The Nexus 7 2 release date in the US is going to be this July 30 already. However, fans in the UK may have to wait longer as the Nexus 7 2 release date in European market.

Christian Post reported that the official Nexus 7 2 release in UK is set for September 13, which gives the European some longer time to wait than other market. Reportedly, the UK retailers such as PC World and Currys will be selling the 16GB Nexus 7 2 for £199.99 in retail while the 32 GB variant will be available for £239.99.

By that time, UK Google Play Store would be selling the Nexus 7 2 already. Other countries will also start selling the new Nexus 7 in the weeks to come.

Google announced that the next-generation of Nexus tablet will also carry the namesake of its predecessor, 'Nexus 7.' But in the remainder of this article, we will be using Nexus 7 2 or new Nexus 7 to refer to the upcoming Android device.

The specs and the Nexus 7 2 release date in the US were all confirmed during a Google press event that was held in July 24 in San Francisco.

Reportedly, the Nexus 7 2 will be available on July 30 and interested buyers can buy the device through Google Play and other trusted retailers such as Best Buy and Staples.
