While fans still have a while to go before the release of Pokemon X and Y, shiny giveaway events in the UK will help the wait by distributing shiny Palkia, Dialga, and Giratina at various GAME stores.

As reported by Serebii, this event is for all the Pokemon lovers who no doubt possess either Pokemon Black 2 or Pokemon White 2, just in time to upgrade to Pokemon X and Y.

From August 30 to September 12, the Shiny Dialga will be available for download.

From September 12 to September 26, prepare for the Shiny Palkia giveaway events.

And finally, September 27 to October 12 will see the Shiny Giratina available for the giveaway.

No doubt, this is something UK players will look forward to in time for the Pokemon X and Y release on October 12. But as of now, it is unconfirmed which UK GAME store locations will hold the shiny giveaway events.

Currently, it is still uncertain how Pokemon X and Y will choose to deal with the backwards compatibility problem, but given that previous generation shiny giveaway events are being planned, there will be a way for gamers to transfer their beloved to the 3DS release.
