iPad 5 Release Date Set For Early September: Thinner By 20%, Apple’s Next-Generation Tablet Is “Highlight Of iPad in 2013,”

iPad 5 release date rumor mill claims that Apple fans might be able to get their hands on the upcoming tablet by September.

Reports suggest that iPad 5 release date is set early September and it will be slimmer by 20 percent. But aside from the official announcement for the iPad 5 release date, Apple fans are also excited to see and experience the changes and improvements made for the forthcoming tablet.

Reportedly, iPad 5 will sport a Retina display, which will be provided by various companies like LG Display, Sharp and a major rival, Samsung. This is to make it certain that Apple will be able keep up with the demand for the iPad 5.

More interestingly, the full-sized next generation 9.7-inch Apple tablet will be thinner by twenty percent than the iPad 4, thanks to the GF2 screen technology. Know Your Mobile, citing Digitimes, posted that iPad 5 will use GF2 thin-film touchscreen, the same technology used for the iPad Mini.

Also, one of the reports regarding iPad 5 specs pointed out that the tablet will sort a much thinner bezel surrounding the display, "which means Apple can claw back precious screen real estate without making the device any larger".

According to Ming-Chi Kuo, as reported by International Business Times, the tablet, sporting a 9.7 inch screen will be the "highlight of iPad in 2013." This is unlike what the experts have previously expected that the iPad Mini 2 will be the one stealing the limelight. This is because the highly anticipated iPad Mini 2 with Retina display could have a delayed launch, which could be as late as next year.

Another device, which is expected to see an early Septemb have aer release date, is the fifth generation iPad, dubbed the "iPad 5." According to Ming-Chi, the new 9.7-inch tablet will be the "highlight of iPad in 2013," as the much-awaited 7.9-inch Retina iPad mini 2 with an A7 SoC could be delayed until next March or April.

If the iPad 5 release date is going to actually be in September, then, it might be good news for Apple enthusiasts who really cannot wait for the next tablet. But anytime soon, Apple will be making official announcement regarding iPad 5 release date and other details about its other upcoming iOS devices. Hopefully, fans would not have to wait too long to see the new iPad and other Apple products.
