Christina Aguilera Weight Loss Secrets 2013: 'The Voice' Judge Loses 30 Pounds Thanks To Yoga And Healthy Diet After Public Criticism ‘Depressed Her’

Christina Aguilera showed off her weight loss at an NBC press event in Beverly Hills. Aguilera's diet secrets are focusing on healthy eating choices and regular sessions of yoga and fun exercise routines.

The 32-year-old judge of "The Voice" showed off her new figure wearing a clingy, textured pink minidress at the press event, paired with nude heels and toned-down makeup. According to HollywoodLife.com, Christina has lost about 30 pounds since last year.

The first sign of Christina's weight loss was during last month's finale of "The Voice," in which Christina performed wearing a tight miniskirt and bra top, showing off a thinner form of herself, The Christina Post reports.

To lose the weight, the pop star attempted a Fresh Diet program online, which regulated her to 1,600 calories a day, a source told Us Weekly. Christina also began doing yoga and working in exercise time that was more fun and less work, in addition to healthy eating choices.

"It's more of a mind-body thing for her," a source told Us.

The website reported last month that the public criticism for her appearance and weight gain on "The Voice" motivated her to shed some pounds

"A lot of people were on her about her weight and it depressed her," a friend told Us Weekly. "She went through a bad time because of the criticism."

"She did it all on her own," the source told the magazine.
