Kingdom Hearts 3 Xbox One, PS4 Release News: The Upcoming Square Enix Adventure RPG Won’t Be The Last Title For The Series

Square Enix has not been sharing any details yet regarding a specific Kingdom Hearts 3 Xbox One, PS4 release date but the game director, Tetsuya Nomura revealed some interesting details for the fans impatiently waiting for the launch of the adventure role-playing game.

In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, Nomura said that Kingdom Hearts 3 will not be the end of the series. He refuted the description for Kingdom Hearts as a 'trilogy.' For one reason, there are spin-off titles made for the franchise such as 358/2 Days and Dream Drop Distance. And more importantly, Nomura shared that the franchise will continue even after Kingdom Hearts 3 Xbox One, PS4 release.

Nomura revealed, "There was never a plan. As a core game, this is finally the third, and 10 years have passed. I couldn't call this a trilogy. There have been so many spinoffs. In 'Kingdom Hearts 3,' the battles that the characters have been fighting for the past 10 years will come to a conclusion. That is the plan."

Revealing that Kingdom Hearts will still go on, he further added, "But the series will continue. Only the particular enemy they have been fighting the past 10 years will come to an end."

Recent reports about Kingdom Hearts 3 Xbox One, PS4 release date claimed that the upcoming Square Enix' RPG title will arrive spring of next year. But the Square Enix Origin strongly disproved this rumor. According to a post from the site, Kingdom Hearts 3 is currently in its early production and there is no way that the game will come to Xbox One and PS4 consoles as early as that.

The report strongly stated, "There is absolutely no way Kingdom Hearts 3 will be released in 2014 due to the fact that it is in extremely early stages of development."

Furthemore, Nomura is also "taking the time to promote the new Final Fantasy XV, a game he wanted to create for the longest time," which makes it impossible for Kingdom Hearts 3 Xbox One, PS4 release date to be set for Spring of 2014.
