B.A.P’s ‘Badman’ Declaring War Against Crime

B.A.P declared a war on brutal crimes without blood or tears in their music video for the new song 'Badman.'

On noon of August 6, B.A.P released the third title song of their third album 'Badman.' It's an intense music video with a message to all the criminals of the world.

B.A.P incorporated intense, biting remarks and phrases in their lyrics for this song against 'psychopaths who don't stay still,' stealing, murder, and sexual assault. Their striking words are indicative of a macabre revenge note, 'This is a war against crime. We'll pay you back in the same way,' 'There is no forgiveness. We'll lock you up in darkness,' and 'An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, remember that.'

The mood of the song is gradually heightened with scratch sounds that unexpectedly harmonize with the melody and heavy bass notes that resound throughout the chorus. Singing that is animalistic, almost like howling, intermingles and flows into the rap parts.

In the music video are crowds that riot and wreak havoc in the city, along with troops and people in uniform. There was a scene that takes place in a panopticon-like prison, to convey an unspoken message that resounds, 'There is nowhere to run or hide.'

The music video was set in Detroit, which is the same setting that Hollywood blockbuster film 'Transformers' series took place in. They set forth a thrilling performance with a brilliant set.

B.A.P is resuming for activities with the release of 'Badman.' After their debut last season they have constantly been busy releasing new songs, with the Pacific Tour, solo concert in Japan, and more. After a six month respite they have come back with 'Badman' and fans are already pumped up for their return. They are scheduled to have a 'B.A.P Live On Earth Seoul Wanted' Concert on August 17 and 18 at the Olympic Hall in Seoul.
