ZE:A’s New Song ‘Ghost of the Wind’ All Men Who Have Crushes Can Relate

ZE:A's new song is about a single man's crush and the sad emotions that accompany this reality.

On August 9 ZE:A released the mini album 'Illusion,' featuring the title song 'Ghost of the Wind.' An homage to 'The Phantom of the Opera,' it is a story of a man who cannot profess his feelings to the person he loves. As a result, he has to hover around her like a ghost who can't express his feelings. It is a metaphor for all the single men who have crushes but can't draw near to their loves.

This song features a house dance rhythm, and incorporates a 14 piece orchestra and a tenor chorus. This style of music is a first for ZE:A since their debut, and it said that hit maker 'Duble Sidekick' specially made this song for them.

The song has lyrics such as 'I'm an entity that is invisible only to your eyes, like a ghost' and 'I already feel like I'm dead like a ghost,' that are almost like confessions. It depicts the touching and desperate emotions of a man who can't draw close to the one he loves.

12R's director Kim Eun Yoo worked on the music video for this song, in which the nine members make their appearance one by one. The music video has a dreamy and exotic feeling to it, and the dynamic group choreography is a sight to see. You can also catch a glimpse of 'Baby Soldier' Park Hyung Sik and 'Entertainment Idol' Kwanghee playing serious roles.

ZE:A will appear on KBS 2TV 'Music Bank' to perform their song 'Ghost of the Wind,' and plans to be active in promoting their new mini album 'Illusion.'
