What's Up This Week... With B.A.P! [Week of 8/4-8/11]

A busy week for the guys of B.A.P!

To start off, the group was named Star of the Week on Mwave, proving that they are no longer powerful rookie artists, but rather true entertainers with staying power.

On August 8, B.A.P held their Live On Earth concert in Singapore for thousands of fans before returning to Korea the following day for the release of "Badman."

Since the release of the latest single last week, they have begun official promotions for the song and mini-album.

The song and video, the group said, are about declaring an international war on crime - something that is very apparent in the dark and gruesome music video.

It also reached the one million mark on YouTube after only four days.

The song shot to the top of the charts and gained a fair amount of overseas press, particularly in the US.

However, back on Korean soil, a bit of a controversy was started when some began claiming that the melody was plagiarized from Shinhwa's song "We Can Get It On."

A minor blip in the road as the guys continue their promotions, making the usual music show rounds.

In fact, after last week's Inkigayo taping, the B.A.P members held an impromptu fan meeting. While it only lasted about five minutes, it was a nice chance for fans to get up close and personal to their favorite idols.

As for what fans can expect from B.A.P in this coming week, there are a few choice appearances the group will be making.

On August 14, they will be guests on Arirang's After School club. The English-language program allows international fans the opportunity to ask their favorite stars questions and meet over live Google chat.

Also, on Saturday, B.A.P will be in the studio with Shindong for ShimShimTaPa on MBC Radio.

A busy time for B.A.P as usual, but they are giving Babyz a lot to keep them entertained!
