KCM Gives Heartfelt Apology to Fans After Military Discharge

KCM (Kang Chang Mo) left a message for his fans after being confined in the guardhouse, then discharged from the military.

On August 4, the day of his dismissal, he left a message on his own fan café with the words, 'I'm sorry. I've been reflecting a lot on what I've done. It seems as if I've unintentionally worried and disappointed you all.'

On August 4 KCM was discharged from active military service from Seoul Yongsangu Department of Defense, and at the time he left without any comment. That's why he left a message for his fans on his fan café.

In his message, KCM shared with his fans, 'Thanks to my family I've returned home safely and in good health. I miss you all. I have a lot to say. When time passes, when we meet face to face, I'll tell you these things. Thank you for all the letters and presents. I'll work hard preparing my music as I take time for self-reflection, and hope to return in good form and with good news.'

Although KCM was scheduled for dismissal on July 31, his discharge date was postponed another four days because he was sentenced to a guardhouse. Upon special investigation, it was revealed that he received his postponement because he was caught using a cell phone without permission. The Korean Department of Defense decided to shut down the promotional aid officer act, dubbed the 'celebrity soldier,' due to a failure to properly serve.
