NU’EST vs EXO and B.A.P

Fans are eager to see if NU'EST can follow in B.A.P's footsteps.

On August 22, NU'EST released the music video for their new song "Sleep Talking" on major music sites for their comeback. Just like EXO (debuted April 2012) and B.A.P (debuted January 2012), NU'EST is in its 2nd year. As such, they cannot avoid being compared to the two idol groups.

EXO has recently been rising in popularity, and has taken the number 1 spot on different cable music ranking programs. They've also taken an all kill with their albums and songs, and are the leading favorites of emerging artists.

Similarly, B.A.P has been working nonstop and is becoming more and more popular. They recently had their 'B.A.P Live on Earth Wanted' tour, in which they traveled to 4 U.S. cities and 5 Asian countries for a total of 13 concerts.

Since their debut, NU'EST has added to their teen fandom with their powerful songs "Face" and "Action." Not only that, they also appealed to the audience with the soft and sensitive song "Hello." However, compared to EXO and B.A.P, NU'EST is still lacking in publicity and hit songs.

According to their agency, "During their long break, NU'EST took the time to mature musically and mentally. The members have decided they want to try to become the best with their new song 'Sleep Talking,' and are determined to use their ambition to fulfill that goal."
