Anthony Weiner Huma Abedin Divorce Possible? [VIDEO] Poll Finds Plurality Of Respondents Think She Should File For Divorce After Carlos Danger Sexting Scandal; Nowhere To Be Seen After New York Mayoral Primary Loss

Should Anthony Weiner and Huma Abedin divorce after the Carlos Danger sexting scandal and devastating New York City Mayoral Democratic Primary Loss?  There has been talk of an Anthony Weiner Huma Abedin divorce since the second scandal broke about Weiner's continued sexting as Carlos Danger with Sydney Leathers.

"Stand by you man" is one move in the political playbook that has served some political wives well.  Hillary Clinton stayed with Bill Clinton after the Monica Lewinsky scandal.  However, Bill Clinton was perhaps a more popular elected official.  Many are wondering if it makes sense for Huma Abedin to divorce Anthony Weiner given the devastating New York City Mayoral democratic primary election loss.

Fueling possible Anthony Weiner Huma Abedin divorce rumors, Huma Abedin did not show up for Anthony Weiner's concession speech. However, Sydney Leathers, Anthony Weiner's sexting partner under his nom de plume Carlos Danger, did show up for the occasion.

Sydney Leathers appeared at the event in a sexy red dress.  Her presence delayed Anthony Weiner's concession speech for the New York Mayoral Race by half an hour.

Leathers was asked why she was outside Weiner's primary party by ABC News, and she replied, "I just felt like I should. I felt obligated after being this involved in the situation."

"I was shocked that he was so high in the polls before the scandal happened. It was shocking to me, knowing the type of person he is.  He tried to lie about the second scandal and tried to act as if the first scandal was the only thing that ever happened, that he had done wrong and he was this changed man and that's not the case and I am proof of that."

Given the antics surrounding Anthony Weiner's demise, an Anthony Weiner Huma Abedin divorce would be understandable.

According to a HuffPost/YouGov poll of 1,000 people, Americans are more likely to say that Huma Abedin should divorce Anthony Weiner, rather than stick around and work on it.

Thirty-nine percent of respondents to the poll said that Human Abedin should file for divorce from Anthony Weiner.  Only 22 percent said she should stay and try to work on their marriage. 39 percent percent said they weren't sure.

Among the 45 percent of respondents who said they had "heard a lot" about Anthony Weiner's continued sexting, 48 percent said that Huma Abedin should file for divorce and only 19 percent said that she should not.

Additionally, nearly all Americans think what Weiner did counts as cheating, according to the survey. Eighty-two percent said that it does, while only 8 percent said that it does not.

What was most likely the damning factor for Weiner in the New York City Mayoral Democratic Primary loss was that respondents said by a 64 percent to 20 percent margin that politicians' unfaithful behavior is relevant information for voters to consider. Respondents in the Northeast were the least likely to say so, but it was still a majority of respondents at 57 percent.
