Miley Cyrus Says Filming ‘Wrecking Ball’ Music Video Was ‘More Of An Emotional Experience’ Than Recording Song; Talks About Being 'Twerk Queen'

Miley Cyrus opened up about her controversial but very popular "Wrecking Ball" music video, and the emotional toll it took on her personally to film the video. She also discussed the craze surrounding her twerking dance skills.

Miley Cyrus chatted about the "Wrecking Ball" music video on Elvis Duran's morning radio show today, according to USA Today, and the controversy it has spurred.

"I think the video is much more. If people get past the point I'm naked, and you actually look at me, you can tell I look more broken than even the song sounds," she said.

"The song is a pop ballad that everyone can relate too; everyone has felt that feeling at some point. but If people can take their minds off the obvious and go into their imagination and see what the video really means and the way that it is so vulnerable. Actually, if you look at my eyes I look more sad than actually my voice sounds on the record."

Miley also admitted that making the "Wrecking Ball" video meant a lot more to her than recording the song.

"It was a lot harder to actually do the video than it was to record the song. It was much more of an emotional experience," she revealed

Miley Cyrus' video already has 42 million views on Vevo, and broke the record for most views in 24 hours. It even sparked a parody clip on Vine that went viral.

Cyrus' highly-anticipated album, Bangerz, which features Britney Spears and Big Sean, is due out in a few weeks. Ahead of the release of the album, Cyrus is scheduled to host and perform on "Saturday Night Live" and will premiere her MTV documentary "Miley Cyrus: The Movement," on October 2 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, MTV reports.

Miley also talked about her "Twerk Queen" status, USA Today reports: "I don't know how that necessarily happened. For me, it's just like, anything I do becomes it becomes such a big deal. For me, I'm just having fun. Whatever people label it as it doesn't really matter. I always want to switch it up," she said on the radio show .
