Where in the world is Niall Horan? One Direction is taking a break from their tour, and a new Twitter photo suggests Niall Horan is in Melbourne, Australia getting some much-needed vacation during the touring break.

According to The Age, a photo of Irish-English One Direction singer Niall Horan was posted on Twitter late Monday night. The photo on Twitter was reportedly snapped by a fan at customs at Melbourne Airport.

1D fans are speculating that Horan is in Melbourne visiting family while the rest of the band takes a break from their tour, The Age reports.

The Twitter hashtag #NiallisinMelbourne was being used by fans to attempt to pinpoint Niall Horan's whereabouts in the world, according to The Age.

A second sighting was briefly reported by a fan, Chris Maheras, who told his Twitter friends he ran into the star and shook his hand on Monday evening.

"Niall is in Melbourne and I just saw him in the city!! Everyone was freaking out!! Shook his hand. Nice guy," the tweet said.

However, Maheras spoke to FoxFM radio on Tuesday morning and admitted he had made the tweet up "for a bit of fun," The Age reports.

Maheras has deleted the tweet.

The initial photo of Horan at Melbourne Airport is still believed to be genuine.

Meanwhile, fellow One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson was recently trending on Twitter after he was tackled and vomited on the sidelines of a charity soccer game over the weekend. Fans took to their accounts to post their support for Tomlinson, and even sent death threats to the player who charged him on the field.
