Emily Blunt And John Krasinski Expecting, Buy Eco-Friendly Home In Ojai: House Used To Be Historic Hotel At The Foot Of A Mountain

Emily Blunt is pregnant....and along with pregnancy comes a bigger pad, apparently- so husband John Krasinski is gonna deliver. And how.

Actress Emily Blunt and John Krasinski, star of "The Office", are expecting their first child, a rep confirmed....so they're moving to a bigger house. Oh, right, a mansion. A solar powered mansion. Duh. Because that's how stars do it.

A friend said of Blunt and Krasinski, "They both want kids, it's one of the reasons they got a bigger place, in a neighborhood that you can raise a family. They both couldn't be more excited."

The two bought a $2 million eco-friendly mansion in Ojai. It runs on solar power, has its own pool and spa, and used to be a historic hotel.

The property is a whopping 4,177 square-feet, and has all the bells and whistles, including state of the art renewable energy technology. It's also surrounded by mountains and within walking distance to a farmer's market.

The house was once the Ojai Foothills Hotel, built in 1903, which helped make Ojai itself into a tourist destination.

The couple have talked about wanting children before. Blunt said last year, "we want to have children; I just don't know when yet. I'm just not sure about the timing of all of that. We're both from big families, so I think it's something we want."

Now, apparently, they're ready.
