LG G2 Release Date, Price: AT&T, T-Mobile Available Online, Sprint Pre-Orders Start October 11

The LG G2 release date is here: fans can purchase the the company's latest flagship smartphone, the LG G2, online from AT&T and T-Mobile. Sprint will also offer the LG G2, and pre-orders will start October 11.

The new LG G2 joins AT&T on time with the carrier's previous announcements for the release date, MobileNApps.com reports.

T-Mobile, meanwhile, had announced a later launch date for the smartphone, but it managed to speed things up and now offers the LG G2 as well, perhaps to compete with AT&T's release date.

For AT&T customers, the G2 costs $200 with a two-year contract, but if you choose the AT&T Next program, which gives the option of upgrading for free after 12-months, then it's $27 per month with no down payment.

AT&T has given the G2 an unlocked price of $575, according to Digital Trends.

According to Android Geeks, the T-Mobile G2 has a full retail price of $629, but you can also split the payment in 24 monthly installments of $21, after you pay $99 up front. You can pre-order the LG G2 from T-Mobile's website and pair it with any of the carrier's non-contract plans, Android Geeks reports.

Sprint is certainly behind the curve; the carrier has only just announced a pre-order for the G2, and it's October 11th, which is almost a month after AT&T and Verizon will have the phone on shelves, and two weeks after T-Mobile, Android Police reports.

The 5.2-inch LG G2 will cost the same price of $199.99 with a two-year contract, CNET reports.

The LG G2 runs on a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, making it the first device to include Qualcomm's fastest chip, Design & Trend reports.

It will also have 3GB of ram, a 13-megapixel camera and a removable 2510 mAH battery.

A new feature called "Answer Me" automatically answers a call when a the phone is raised to your ear, and "Text Link" lets users save certain information, including addresses, to a map, the website notes.
