Nokia Lumia 1520 Release Date Is In Two Weeks? First Full HD Display Windows Phone Launches September 26?

The Nokia Lumia 1520 release date is in just two weeks, according to new rumors. Will the first full HD display Windows phone launch on September 26?

Twitter user @evleaks - a highly rated source of mobile leaks, according to TechRadar.com - wrote a simple message about the release date of the Finnish company's newest flagship smartphone: "Nokia Lumia 1520: launches 9/26."
Though Nokia has not yet revealed whether or not it is working on the rumored 6-inch Lumia 1520, which is thought to have been codenamed "Bandit," the rumor mill has recently gone into overdrive, Tech Radar reports.

It's being suggested that the Lumia 1520 will be the first Windows Phone handset to pack a full HD display, the website notes. Nokia could also break into a new screen size for the Lumia 1520, if the 6-inch reports turn out to be true.

Nokia had already been expected to unveil the Lumia 1520 at a New York City event later this month, according to WP Central, which said that the company is planning an event for September 26 and 27, CNET reports.

A price for the 1520 has not yet been revealed.

The 1520 will reportedly offer a 1080p screen, which will make it the largest and sharpest display among all Windows Phone devices, CNET reports. The 1520 will also reportedly be constructed with a polycarbonate body and powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor, while a 20-megapixel camera will grace the rear.
