Sylvester Stallone, Robert De Niro 'Grudge Match' Trailer [VIDEO]:'Rocky' Vs 'Raging Bull’ Has Three Different Endings, Which One Will We See?

Sylvester Stallone and Robert de Niro are two old boxers who settle a 50-year old grudge in “Grudge Match.” Both actors got their breakthrough roles as boxers, and they will be back at the ring on Christmas Day. It's such a tight match that they shot three different endings!
Stallone plays Billy “The Kid” Mc Donnen and De Niro plays Henry “Razor” Sharp. They were rival boxers in their youth, but 50 years after their last match, they renew their hatred and arrange a grudge match. Humor arises when they’re not quite “Kids” and their skills aren’t “Razor Sharp” anymore.
The film is filled with allusions to their movie characters which is unavoidable. Both actors played boxers in their claim to fame: Stallone in “Rocky” and De Niro in “Raging Bull.” These roles have a special place in the actors’ hearts.
The movie will be released across America on Christmas Day, which would allow older viewers a time to reminisce and have some laughs. In an interview with USA Today, director Peter Segal relates how Sly Stallone was hesitant to make fun of his “Rocky” character: "Sly had never really winked at his iconic character. And he was nervous. But once he got into it, he lost all the nervousness."
Some of the film’s staff revealed that they shot three different endings. “Debate got so heated among crew and extras that Segal shot three finales to Grudge: In one, Stallone's character "Razor" wins; De Niro's "The Kid" wins in another; and they tie in the third version.”
The comedy director of “50 First dates” and “Anger Management” confirms this: "We had more than 500 extras for the big fight, and didn't want (the outcome) getting out.”
“Grudge Match” also stars Kim Basinger, Kevin Hart and Alan Arkin. Watch the trailer here:
