PlayStation Plus Free Games: Sony PS3 Users To Get Galaga Legions DX; Call Of Duty Titles On Sale This Week

Galaga Legions DX, previously announced as one of the PlayStation Plus free games for the month of September can now be downloaded by Sony PlayStation 3 users.

PlayStation Plus subscribers, specifically, those who have PS3, can already snag Galaga Legions DX for free this week. This PlayStation Plus free game became available on the Instant Game Collection on September 10, Tuesday.

A popular arcade game, Galaga Legions DX features new twist on the classic gameplay with its "slick new graphics and devastating weapon power-ups." Describing the gameplay, PlayStation Blog posts, "Board your fighter and prepare to defend Earth from wave after wave of relentless aliens. Target your enemies' critical weak spots to earn bonuses and rack-up an astronomical score! Blast your way through unique levels and epic boss battles on your mission to defend the galaxy and prevent an intergalactic catastrophe!"

Aside from getting Galaga Legions DX for free on PS3, PlayStation Plus members can also get more games currently offered on discounted rates.

One of the discounted games that can be availed by PlayStation Plus free games is Dragon Fantasy Book 2. Made for PS3 and PS Vita, the $15 -worth role-playing fantasy game, is now offered for only $12.

Moreover, PlayStation Plus members can also take advantage of the cheaper prices for PS3 titles that are part of Call of Duty franchise such as Black Ops 2. As reported by Joystiq, the price for the Season Pass is now available for only $85, from its original value worth, $94. Also, PS3 owners subscribing to PlayStation Plus can now purchase a bundle of Black Ops and Black Ops 2 for only $70.

Meanwhile, Modern Warfare 3 for PS3 gets a $5 off and the PS Vita game, Doodle God is now worth $4.5 from $6.
