Richie Sambora, Bon Jovi Split Final; Guitarist Releases 9/11 Tribute Single [VIDEO]; Bon Jovi Drummer Undergoes Surgery

Richie Sambora has released a new single. While has moved on after being fired from Bon Jovi, the guitarist sends well wishes to Tico Torres, drummer of Bon Jovi.
Torres was rushed to the hospital for an emergency appendectomy and according to band leader Jon Bon Jovi: "in the care of his doctors at the American British Cowdray Hospital."
"We'd like to thank the doctors, nurses and all the hospital staff who helped our friend through through this difficult time," he wrote. "We'll remain here with Tico in Mexico City and see him through his release."
"He wants everyone to know that it was his desire to perform," Bon Jovi said.
The drummer is already 59-year-olds and he hails from Woodbridge, N.J.
"He even promised the doctors he would come back for the surgery right after the show, but the doctors prevailed," he said.

Sambora has sent this message: “All my love, prayers and heart goes out to my brother, Tico, He’s an amazing man, a true warrior, great artist and underestimated musician.”

Meanwhile, Sambora has indeed moved on. He released his second single after his departure from Bon Jovi. The song is a tribute to a family of firefighters one of whom responded to the 9/11 incident.
