Walking Dead Season 4 Spoiler: New Threats Come From a Time Jump and a Zombie Apocalypse Spin-Off
Walking Dead Season 4 Spoilers: There will be a new threat in the upcoming season of “The Walking Dead,” I mean, there always are, and now there will be several. The “Walking Dead” humans will encounter a new danger, and will deal with a time jump.
But scarier than that is there are so many new dangers to the Walking Dead series that AMC has to developing a new “Walking Dead” spin-off to explore what they promise will be a “new corner” of the Zombie Apocalypse.
AMC announced that it is in the early stages of developing a “companion series” to expanding its lucrative Walking Dead franchise with the first Walking Dead spin-off. The Walking Dead spinoff will launch in 2015.
The Walking Dead, creator Robert Kirkman, as well as Gale Anne Hurd and David Alpert will be the executive producers on The Walking Dead, offshoot.
In a statement, Charlie Collier, president of AMC, said “Building on the success of the most popular show on television for adults 18-49 is literally a no-brainer. We look forward to working with Robert, Gale and Dave again as we develop an entirely new story and cast of characters. It’s a big world and we can’t wait to give fans another unforgettable view of the zombie apocalypse.”
Robert Kirkman said “After 10 years of writing the comic book series and being so close to the debut of our fourth, and in my opinion, best season of the TV series, I couldn’t be more thrilled about getting the chance to create a new corner of The Walking Dead universe. The opportunity to make a show that isn’t tethered by the events of the comic book, and is truly a blank page, has set my creativity racing.”
AMC and the Sony Pictures Television also announced that “Better Call Saul” which has been rumored to be spon off from from “Breaking Bad” is moving forward. Bob Odenkirk will return on the set to star as Saul Goodman, Walter White and Jesse Pinkman's lawyer.
