As we previously reported, the premiere episode of "The Vampire Diaries" is called "I Know What You Did Last Summer," and will pick up with Elena and Caroline heading to Whitmore College for their freshman year, IB Times reports. Episode 1 will premiere October 3rd on the CW.

As reported by SpoilerTV, the title list for episodes two through five have been leaked:

Episode 1: "I Know What You Did Last Summer"

Episode 2: "True Lies"

Episode 3: "Original Sin"

Episode 4: "For Whom The Bell Tolls"

Episode 5: "Monsters Ball"

So what do these titles reveal? IB Times speculates a few spoilers based on this episode list.

Former "True Blood" star Janina Gavankar will be joining "The Vampire Diaries" for its fifth season as Tessa, and is described as a "beautiful and exotic self-assured woman who comes to town to rekindle an old flame."

Could it be possible that Tessa is an old flame of Silas' and that their story will be revealed in episode three, "Original Sin"? The titles seem to match this suggestion.

According to BuddyTV, another clue is that "Monsters Ball" may debut another newcomer this year: Megan, a "smartypants" who attends the 1950s theme Mystic Falls dance and "attempts to charm the pants off Jeremy."

The only episode that has a released synopsis is Episode 1, as reported by SpoilerTV: "COLLEGE DAYS - After spending the summer enjoying her passionate relationship with Damon (Ian Somerhalder), and making sure that Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) is adjusting after his return from the dead, Elena (Nina Dobrev) is thrilled to move into the dorm at nearby Whitmore College with her new roommate, Caroline (Candice Accola). Still believing that Bonnie (Kat Graham) has been traveling all summer and will soon join them, Elena and Caroline are surprised when a student named Megan (guest star Hayley Kiyoko) shows up and announces that she will be sharing their dorm room. Katherine (Nina Dobrev) makes an unexpected appearance at the Salvatore house and pleads with Damon to help her now that she is human and vulnerable to her enemies. Matt (Zach Roerig) and Rebekah (Claire Holt) return to Mystic Falls after spending a wild summer in Europe, where they met a mysterious beauty named Nadia (guest star Olga Fonda). Elena can't shake the feeling that something is wrong with Stefan (Paul Wesley), and Silas (Paul Wesley) makes a terrifying appearance at the "End of Summer" party in the town square.
