NBA 2K14 Spoilers: Players To Choose Lebron James Future Team; Kobe Fans Angry At Low Rating
“NBA 2K14” has a game mode where players can control Lebron James’ career path. It also features the familiar player rating, and Kobe fans are irked at the low rating their idol was given.
“NBA 2K14” will be released on October 2, but they have given leaks on their Twitter page, specifically the player ratings. The ratings have Lebron James, the featured cover star, is the highest at 99. Kobe Bryant is at 93.
The discrepancy has elicited aggressive reactions among Lakers followers. Other ratings above Kobe (revealed so far) were Kevin Durant at 95, Chris Paul at 94.

In the first, less controversial path, James stays with the Heat, creating a dynasty to match any in league history. In the other, James bolts for the New York Knicks this summer in free agency, teams with various stars along the way, and finds himself in an eerily familiar yet absolutely fantastical iteration of the NBA. It's basketball science fiction.”
This new game mode takes the game package to a whole new level as 2K Sports cannot rest on their laurels. Their main rival, EA Sports’ “NBA Live,” will mount a return after a four-year absence. This will make the NBA gaming arena as interesting as the NBA itself.
