Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V) Cheats Leaked; What To Expect From New Game

"Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V)" has yet to be officially released, but there are already confirmed cheat codes for both the PS3 and Xbox versions.

The latest edition will still retain most of the cheats found in previous titles, but they will be activated by using different codes. There are also some additions and adjustments to match with the GTA V.

While activating cheat codes may give you a necessary advantage, it is not without consequence. Cheat Code Central advises its readers about GTA 5 cheats: "Although cheats have to be programmed into the game, by activating them, a gamer sacrifices the ability to earn trophies, making them far from sanctioned. Still, the fun of becoming a powerful deity in a digital world of potential sacrifices might be worth the loss of a few trophies."

GTA V cheat codes cannot be saved as well. The player has to manually encode them upon loading a game.

These are the cheat categories you can execute in GTA V: (Applies to both PS3 and Xbox)

Wanted levels: Players can still raise or lowel their wanted levels. There is no cheat yet to instantly raise the wanted level all the way up to six stars.

Player abilities: These cheats can enhance the abilities of the character you are controlling (In GTA V, there's more than one). You can run faster, have an explosive melee attack and have a parachute when needed.

Weapon Cheats: Instant weapon group cheats (like those in previous GTA titles) have yet to be released. Instead, some weapon enhancement cheats are available like explosive bullets, flaming bullets and slow motion aim.

Pedestrian Control: The only functioning code as of now is Drunk Mode.

Vehicle Spawns: Because of the heavily expanded map, more vehicle types can be spawned. Also, players can now spawn more than one vehicle at a time (since you can now control more than one player at a time).

More functioning cheats are expected to be leaked, and eventually discovered after the game's release.
